Biking in Snow Canyon State Park offers an exhilarating adventure amidst breathtaking desert landscapes and unique geological formations. Located near St. George, Utah, this iconic park features a variety of trails that cater to riders of all skill levels, making it a popular destination for mountain biking enthusiasts. Here are a few of my favorite.

Whiptail Trail: This intermediate-level trail is approximately 6.4 miles round trip and offers scenic views of red rock formations, lava flows, and desert vegetation. It features some technical sections and moderate climbs, making it a favorite among intermediate riders.

Butterfly Trail: As one of the easier trails in the park, Butterfly Trail is suitable for beginners and families. It’s a 2-mile loop that provides picturesque views of Snow Canyon and its unique geological features, including lava tubes and sandstone cliffs.

Lava Flow Trail: This moderate trail offers a unique biking experience through ancient lava flows.
